Summertime is always exciting for Pokémon GO players. This is the time of the year when most people around the globe get some time off to play the game and explore their surroundings.
Niantic has been keeping the Trainers entertained with the recent events and the first month of summer is sure to keep the trend going.
With exciting Gible Community Day, the Regi Trio comeback, and Galarian Slowpoke debut, there’s so much to look forward to in June.
In the first half of June, from Tuesday,
June 1, 2021, at 12:00 a.m. until Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 12:00 a.m. local
time, the Team GO Rocket leader Giovanni will have Shadow Zapdos in his
possession. Make sure to complete the Team GO Rocket Special Research, The
Higher They Fly..., to earn a Super Rocket Radar and track down the Team GO
Rocket Boss and get a chance to save Shadow Zapdos. According to Niantic, from
June 17 onwards, a different Pokémon will be featured as Giovanni’s final team
member.
Throughout the month of June, specifically from Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. to Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PDT, the Research Breakthrough encounters will feature Clamperl, the Bivalve Pokémon. You'll also get a free Remote Raid Pass and double the XP when you earn a Research Breakthrough this month. The 2x XP for Research Breakthroughs will continue throughout the upcoming season.
As usual, throughout the month, a Pokémon Spotlight Hour will take place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, spotlighting different Pokémon and special bonus:

Tuesday, June 1, 2021: Dwebble
will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the XP for catching Pokémon.

Tuesday, June 8, 2021: Abra
will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Candy for catching Pokémon.

Tuesday, June 15, 2021:
Slowpoke will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Candy for
transferring Pokémon.

Tuesday, June 22, 2021: Swinub
will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the XP for evolving Pokémon.

Tuesday, June 29, 2021: Aipom
will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Stardust for catching
Pokémon.
The following Legendary Pokémon will be appearing in five-star raids throughout June.
In the first half of June, the Legendary Regi Trio will be making its Pokémon GO comeback. Regirock, Regice, and Registeel will be appearing in five-star raids from Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
From Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time, a surprise new Legendary Pokémon will be appearing in raids.
In addition, starting from June 1, 2021, only one Pokémon will be appearing in Mega Raids at a time. The raids will feature the following Mega-Evolved Pokémon:

Mega Lopunny will appear in
Mega Raids from Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, June 8, 2021,
at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Mega Slowbro will be making its
Pokémon GO debut in Mega Raids from Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to
Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

A Raid Hour event will take place every Wednesday in June, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. The following Pokémon will be featured:

Community Day in June will take place on June
6, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time and will feature none other

Niantic has announced several events taking place in June, with more details coming soon.
From Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. through Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Slowbro, and Mega Slowbro will make their Pokémon GO debuts. The event, titled A Very Slow Discovery will be themed around lazy and active Pokémon and will include a Collection Challenge featuring Slowpoke and others.
A Solstice Event will be coming back to Pokémon GO from Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. through Sunday, June 20, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers in the northern hemisphere will encounter summer-themed Pokémon, while Trainers in the southern hemisphere will encounter winter-themed Pokémon. More details on the event will become available on June 16.
According to Niantic, an unexpected event from Friday, June 25, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. through Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time will be taking place in Pokémon GO, promising Trainers “to be able to sink their two front teeth into” the new event.
With the introduction of another Galarian form
and surprise Legendary Pokémon and exciting events, June will be a great start
