This month you could vote for the next Community day Pokémon and we have seen a lot of people campaign and convince others to group up to vote for the Pokémon you wanted to be featured on February Community Day. We are pleased to reveal that the winner is Rhyhorn
Don’t forget! During Community Day, you can evolve Rhyhorn into Rhyperior for the exclusive attack Rock Wrecker. And if you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny variant of Rhyhorn!
We congratulate everyone who voted for this Pokémon! The Community Day featuring the winning Pokémon will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2020. The featured bonus will be 3× Catch Stardust. Per an earlier update, Community Day for Trainers in the northern hemisphere will run from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time, while in the southern hemisphere, it will run from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.
We thank you all for taking part in this new kind of community voting event.
Now for enthusiastic Pokémon Go players who are considering farming this Community Day Pokémon we have some things about Rhyhorn you should know!
Rhyhorn is a Rock and Ground-type Pokémon
There are currently a total of 3 Pokémon in the Rhyhorn family. Rhydon evolves from Rhyhorn which costs 25 Candy and evolves into Rhyperior which costs 100 Candy and a Sinnoh Stone.
The best moves for Rhydon are Mud-Slap and Earthquake when attacking Pokémon in Gyms. This move combination has the highest total DPS and is also the best move set for PVP battles.
If you did not manage to get a Mud-Slap and Earthquake move set, then Mud-Slap and Stone Edge will also do just fine for both Gym defense and offense!
For the people who are interested in the gender and catching statistics here we go! Its gender spawn rate is exactly 50/50 and the Flee rate after each throw is a flat 6% for a normal spawn.
If you make it your buddy and walk around with it you will generate a Candy every 3KM of walking around.
Not a lot of people use him or it's evolutions in the online Battle League's.
Our research and the opinions of other informative websites conclude that a Rhyhorn or Rhydons rating for PVP is 3/5 stars. If you don't have a Chansey or a tank then a Rhydon will still happily take on that role until you have found a new substitute like the above-mentioned Chansey or a Blissey But those are weak against Fighting-type Pokémon so watch out what Gym you place it in to Defend!
Have fun during the upcoming Community Day!
